People’s Health Tribunal

Dear friends,Last week, as part of the protests linked to the People’s Health Tribunal that we are co-organising, we took action against Total in London by targeting their funder – Standard Chartered. We showed up outside the Standard Chartered AGM where speakers from communities around the world demanded: no more carbon bombs, no more genocide and no more displacement.The pressure is working. Just a few days ago, after relentless targeting by activists and communities—Standard Chartered announced they will no longer fund the East Africa Crude Oil Pipeline. This is a massive win for our movement but so much more needs to be done.

With that in mind, the day of testimonies for the People’s Health Tribunal is coming up soon – this Saturday, 13th May, from 1pm to 7:30pm UK time (with breaks!).
