| Join us, this Friday, for a chance to have a conversation with incredible international activist Shalmali Guttal, director of Focus on the Global South. Shalmali has worked with social movements across the globe to combat western governments’ neo-colonial policies, which she has seen lead to rampant inequality. But she is keen to share an alternative vision which stems from her insights on food justice and grassroots organising in India, and the huge farmers’ protests which swept that country in 2021. |
Friday 12 May 6-7.30pm Global Justice Now office, 66 Offley Rd, London SW9 0LS (see on map)This event will happen in a small group, with room for conversation, and Shalmali will be happy to answer questions that you might have on any of these issues and more.
