PROTEST: South London against immigration raids

Last week, local residents in Tooting were shocked when the Metropolitan Police began harassing Deliveroo riders in Tooting, stopping dozens of them on the high street. They claimed the operation was about road safety, and used Covid regulations to justify it, but they also brought along immigration officials and detained a number of riders on immigration enforcement grounds.So this weekend, Another Europe is proud to be supporting a community-led response to the raids. We’ll be protesting in Tooting on Sunday at 12.30pm, and we urge everyone who can to come down and show their support.
